Seems that the Swiss legislature may pass a law requiring ProtonVPN to start banning certain domains from being access by French users (mostly illegal sports streaming sites)
For those using ProtonVPN, is the writing on the wall?

Works much better than it does in other states. Lived here 30 years and I can count on 1 hand how many times the power has gone out for more than a few minutes.
I have friends who live in Houston who would like to mention the three times in the last ten years where their power was out for multiple days at a time. Usually while it is freezing or over 100F outside.
Remind me which coastal cities are so “wise” as to have a power system that’s immune to hurricanes?
Oh fuck off they lost power for over a million people last year because of a cat 1 hurricane that didn’t even directly hit them.
You not only didn’t answer my question but you were extremely rude while not doing it.
I don’t have patience for sealioning. Expect rudeness while doing that.
I don’t have the patience for people who contribute nothing to the conversation except unwarranted antagonism. Expect to be blocked while doing that.
We all know what sealioning is but thank you for mansplaining.
Honestly it’s the dumbest shit ever. “I don’t have anything to back up the nonsense I’m spewing so I’m going to be a complete dick, and confidently incorrect, and then blame you for asking me to back up my bullshit!”
It’s funny that the examples listed have nothing to do with hurricanes, and were actually polar vortexes from the north, and just general heat waves. Nothing “extraordinary” other than temperature.
Then you’re mistaken. I’ve already acknowledged the one time power went out due to polar vortex. Heat waves have not taken out power in Houston. The power outages in Houston are caused almost exclusively by hurricanes/tropical storms/other severe weather events that other cities would also lose power in.
Okay there bud
Maybe hold on a little longer as well.

Certainly seems close at the very least.
I don’t have a response to someone who’s only strategy is to intentionally misrepresent my comments.
lol what solar powered Texas rock have you been living under? In the last few years, people have DIED because of long lasting power outages in Texas. Back in 2020 I was one of the few lucky ones to not be affected by the snowpocalypse, and had to have friends stay with me for days because their apartment did not have electricity.
Power outage*. You’re referring to a single incident that has since been resolved. Lots of other places have days-long outages multiple times/year.
Yeah? Funny how it’s even less than that for the rest of us.
Might work better for you but there are plenty of other places that are much worse.
Get out of here with that logic and personal experience that contradicts the popular narrative!
